This upcoming meeting at the Convention on Biological Diversity COP 16 will convene stakeholders to evaluate and strengthen global restoration efforts. The session will focus on three main areas: 

  • Progress assessment of restoration initiatives under the Decade and their alignment with Target 2 
  • Strategic planning and vision development for the Decade's second phase (2025 - 2030)
  • Enhancement of operational synergies across different activities and programs 

This meeting will bring together members of the Advisory Board, World Restoration Flagships, and Partners to review achievements address future challenges, develop strategies for scaling up global restoration movements and initiatives. 

This will serve a platform for collaborative dialogue and decision-making, advancing global momentum toward the 2030 agenda and its ecosystem restoration targets.
