The Brazilian Conference on Ecological Restoration is a national event promoted every two years by the Brazilian Society for Ecological Restoration (SOBRE). Its next edition will take place between July 8 and 12, 2024, in the cities of Juazeiro (BA) and Petrolina (PE), with the support of the Center for Ecology and Environmental Monitoring (NEMA) of the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF). For the first time, the event will be held in the Caatinga, a Seasonally Dry Tropical Forest, located mostly in the Northeast region of Brazil.
Target audience: Students, technicians, extension workers, private consultants, environmentalists, public managers, nurserymen, seed collectors, native people, quilombolas and forest defenders, professors and researchers in the areas of ecological restoration, native species, silviculture and other related topics.
Location: Complexo Multieventos da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, Rua do Paraíso, Campus Juazeiro-BA, Brazil.
