The G20 Global Land Initiative (GLI) was initiated during the Saudi Presidency of G20 with an ambition to achieve 50% reduction in land degradation by 2040.

GLI and the International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA), are co-hosting a workshop on Biosaline Agriculture as an Approach to Land Restoration.The training will be held from 6-9 November in Dubai, UAE, and will offer a set of comprehensive modules on land restoration in marginal environments through biosaline agriculture. We are expecting experts, technicians, extension officers and university students working and/or studying in fields related to crop and natural resources management systems (CNRM) with a particular focus on biosaline agriculture.
