You are cordially invited to the National Youth Summit 2024 of the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge, the largest global youth-led movement to fight plastic pollution.
The Tide Turners Plastic Challenge is building the capacities of nearly 1 million young people across 50 countries to tackle plastic pollution by raising awareness, fostering community engagement, and advocating for policy changes.
In India, the challenge has so far engaged over 750,000 youth, enabling action on single-use plastics and motivating changes in behavior and norms around plastic usage at both individual and community levels.
This National Youth Summit will set the course for felicitating and highlighting some of our inspiring youth champion stories from across different states of India.
Among our guest speakers will be UNEP Goodwill Ambassador Ms. Dia Mirza, Founder of the Afroz Shah Foundation Mr. Afroz Shah, and Green Oscar awardee Ms. Purnima Devi Barman. Both Afroz Shah and Purnima Devi Barman have won UNEP’s Earth Champion awards.
