The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration had it's 5th Learning Session Themed "Behavior Change:A Toolkit for ecosystem restoration", held on September 6,2023. The event was co-hosted by RARE and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), in partnership with the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
This special session empowered participants with a blend of knowledge, insight, and motivation, focusing on behavior-centered design (BCD) and behavioral sciences to enhance ecosystem restoration aligned with the UN Decade's mission.
Throughout the event, essential concepts from behavioral and social sciences were covered, along with design thinking principles, offering a fresh and innovative approach to addressing environmental challenges.
