Join UNECE to commemorate the International Day of Forests on 21 March 2024.

Beginning at 10:00 CET, "Forest Talk: Innovation 4 Climate" in Auditorium H.200, Palais des Nations, will feature a discussion with experts on innovative uses of wood components. At 12:00 CET, the symbolic ceremony "Glacial Threads: From Forests to Future Textiles," will take place, where a glacier fleece made from innovative wood-based fibers will be draped over Michelangelo Pistoletto’s renowned ‘Rebirth’ sculpture.

The event concludes with a reception hosted by the Permanent Mission of Italy.
