This October, world leaders and experts will convene in Cali, Colombia, for the 2024 United Nations Biodiversity Conference (CBD COP16) to take action to protect the rich variety of life on Earth. Species are dying out faster than ever, and the stakes are immense: losing biodiversity means losing essential ecosystem services, livelihoods, food security and climate regulation.
