Investing in Ecosystem Restoration: Towards an Integrated Approach for Ecosystem Restoration and Development Solutions in the Near East and North Africa Countries
This meeting will focus on presenting the Investment Framework for Ecosystem Restoration in the NENA Region. This initiative aims to optimize financing to support the implementation of national and regional restoration initiatives, aligning them with national development goals.
The event will serve as a high-level dialogue platform to discuss key challenges and opportunities in advancing land restoration in the region, as well as explore opportunities for scaling up ecosystem restoration and monitoring efforts.
Furthermore, the meeting will introduce the Framework for Ecosystem Restoration Monitoring (FERM) platform, a tool designed to document and monitor restoration activities.
