India's first Carbon-neutral Festival: Jal Utsav - Celebrating Water, Life, and Sustainability, the remarkable event is scheduled from 15th to 25th November 2023 at the beautiful landscapes of Het Ni Haveli, Lathi-Dudhala, Amreli District, Gujarat. In collaboration with the Government of Gujarat, the Dholakia Foundation takes immense pride in presenting Jal Utsav, a pioneering Water Festival with a mission to inspire, celebrate, and address the critical issue of water conservation. 

This remarkable vision was endorsed by India's Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, who inaugurated the Hari Krishna Sarovar and dedicated this groundbreaking endeavour to the local community. With unwavering support from the Gujarat Government, Jal Utsav embodies the State’s commitment to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Jal Utsav 2023 will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, and the Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvratji, symbolising the collective commitment of the state's leadership to water and environmental conservation. 

The festival will witness the presence of the Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and Governors of other States, political and business leaders, and international delegates.  The Jal Utsav 2023 has curated diverse activities and programs to bring these objectives to life. These include Serene Lakeside Tents accommodations, exhilarating Water Sports, a Vibrant Carnival (Melo), mesmerising Water Fountain displays, a serene Bird Park, enchanting Botanical Gardens, a Lake Side Food Court, captivating evening Cultural Performances, awe-inspiring Horse Shows and enlightening Expert Roundtable Discussions, insightful Water & SDG Pavillions. These activities are designed to ignite enthusiasm, foster connections, and heighten eco-awareness among an estimated 1,50,000 participants. The Jal Utsav Festival is not only a celebration but also a reminder of the urgent need to protect our water resources. Water Fest is the perfect oasis for all nature enthusiasts visiting Saurashtra to come together and revel in the marvels of the world of Saurashtrian hospitality.
