Srdan Susic is Chief Destination Sustainability Officer at Soudah Development – a real estate company working on turning an entire region in Saudi Arabia into a tourism destination known for its nature.  

His goal is to contribute to the joint efforts of UNEP and FAO in preventing, halting, and reversing degradation of ecosystems worldwide, as Earth has entered the Anthropocene - a geological epoch where human activities become so pervasive and profound that they rival the great forces of Nature. As the Earth is rapidly moving into a less biologically diverse, less forested, and much warmer state, he is interested in bringing about the needed change and sustainability through joining UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration Advisory Board and guiding its efforts in addressing key issues.
