This high-level event focuses on both top-down and bottom-up approaches to investing in nature, particularly for World Restoration Flagships. It will take place at the KPMG space within the RCREE pavilion. Limited to 30 invitees, this workshop is designed to be a collaborative and practical session, centering on the creation of concrete finance mini-business plans for three existing World Restoration Flagships, along with insights into two future flagship projects.

Delve into the practical aspects of investing in nature through a bottom-up approach addressing on-the-ground financial challenges while catering to top-down investor needs. The outcome aims to establish a financial subgroup within the UN Decade Advisory Board, dedicated to offering financial and investor guidance to critical restoration sites. It will focus on 2-3 selected World Restoration Flagship Sites, encompassing an overview of each site's vision, existing or anticipated business models for financing, and the associated challenges and potential solutions.Attendees will engage in table breakout discussions, with dedicated tables for each flagship site. Discussions will revolve around exploring top-down solutions, crafting financial business models specific to each restoration site, and collaboratively producing mini business plans.
