Join the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), and IUCN’s Commission on Ecosystem Management for the official launch of Standards of Practice to Guide Ecosystem Restoration: A Contribution to the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021–2030.
The Standards of Practice present a common lexicon for all types of restorative activities under the UN Decade, from reducing societal impacts to ecological restoration, and includes over 300 recommendations to improve the benefits of ecosystem restoration to people and nature, across all types of ecosystems from forests to oceans. To celebrate the publication, the collaborative team is hosting two sessions with individuals involved with the development of this important document.
To accommodate participants from different time zones, two webinars will be co-organized with SER and IUCN-CEM on 6 March, 2024 10:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada) and 7 March, 2024 10:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada). Register to participate here.
