This side event is part of rhe 9th World Forest Week and will focus on addressing landscape degradation and deforestation through collaborative forest landscape restoration efforts. The gathering will highlight knowledge sharing from IUCN's forest conservation initiatives, collaboration between IUCN and FAO on restoration monitoring tools, and announce a new Global Environment Facility-funded initiative for primary forest conservation.
