The North American Forest Commission (NAFC) is one of six regional forestry commissions of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. NAFC provides a policy and technical forum for Canada, Mexico and the United States of America to discuss and address forest issues throughout North America. Climate change, fire management, insects and diseases and forest genetic resources will be on the agenda.
The Commission meets every two years to review progress and set new agendas.
